I am Sandra. FYI.

I am Sandra. I am a values-driven designer and communicator with a holistic mindset and a deep curiosity for learning and creativity. I love hatching new ideas, connecting dots across disciplines and I happily spend time in downward-facing dog. I am fascinated by the psychology behind human behavior and how design and communication can have an impact on this. My personal path through life is not straight, but that path has shaped my experiences and given me the unique knowledge I have today.

To make a long story short: I am on a (hopefully) never-ending journey of development and exploration, working with purpose and using my skills to support meaningful change.

To make a short story a little longer: I first entered the world of media and communication in my early adulthood, and have since been fascinated by its possibility to influence human behavior and help people make conscious choices. I currently hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Informatics (specialized in Graphic Design and Web Development) and a Master’s Degree in Media Management, with a focus on sustainability, human rights and cross media marketing. I am a lifelong learner and currently exploring the intersections between strategy and storytelling through design and branding.

I have broad experience, from graphic design and web development to strategy and communication, from Sweden to Australia, and from non-profit organizations and startups to established businesses in the private and public sectors. This has given me the ability to take a step back and look at communication from multiple perspectives.

Personally, I’ve always wanted to contribute to positive change, rather than just exist in the world. I aim to work in contexts that align with my values, where I can contribute with my perspective as well as learn from others.
